Cookie Policy

Our website places small files on your device: cookies. Some are needed to make the site work, others we only use if you give us permission. On this page you can read which ones these are.

Cookies that are always on

These are needed to make the website work. Without these cookies we can't remember certain things, such as your choice in the cookie notice itself, or the list of activities you've saved with the heart icon. That list stays in your own browser and is not sent to us.

We don't need to ask permission for these cookies, and you can't switch them off without the website working less well.

Cookies for measuring visits

With Google Analytics we measure how many people visit our website and which pages they look at. This shows us what works and what we can improve. We only place these cookies after you've clicked "Accept".

Cookies for advertising

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. The Meta pixel lets us see whether someone who saw our advert actually ended up on our website, and helps us tailor our adverts better. These, too, are only placed with your permission.

Videos

The videos on our website come from YouTube. We use the version that doesn't place advertising cookies. YouTube may still receive data that is needed to play the video, such as your IP address.

Changing your choice

Your choice is stored in your own browser. If you want to change it, delete the website data for roomexperience.nl in your browser settings; the next time you visit, you'll be asked again. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser — the website will still work fine, but we won't be able to count your visit.

You can read more about what we do with your data in our privacy statement.
